Alterations and tailoring we carry out
We handle the most common tailoring jobs on trousers, dresses, shirts, jackets and suits. That includes hemming length, taking in or letting out the width, adjusting sleeves and waist, and other alterations that give a garment the right fit. Small adjustments can make a big difference to how a garment sits and feels.
Hemming, taking in and adjusting fit
Hemming trousers, skirts or sleeves is one of our most common jobs – we tailor the length to exactly you. If a garment needs taking in or letting out, we adjust the width at the waist, midriff or sides so the shape is preserved. We work from the original garment, so the alteration looks like a natural part of the cut.
Alterations for heirlooms and special garments
Some garments need more than a simple hem – it might be reworking an heirloom, adjusting after a change in size, or altering a piece you're especially fond of. Tell us what you'd like when you order, ideally with measurements, and our tailors take care of the rest. If the garment also needs a repair, we can do both at the same time.
How to order an alteration
You choose alteration when you order online and briefly tell us what the garment needs. We pick the garment up at home or work, or you drop it at a service point or partner store – you choose the shipping method yourself. When the alteration is done, we send the garment back, ready to wear.

The price depends on the garment and the type of hem – a simple turn-up costs less than a hem with an edge, lining or special stitching. You see the price before you order.
Can you take in a dress or adjust the fit?+
Yes. We take in and let out the width, adjust the waist and sleeves, and tailor the fit of dresses, trousers, shirts and jackets. Describe the result you want in your order, ideally with measurements.
How do you know how the garment should fit when I send it in?+
You provide measurements and the change you want when you order, so the tailors can adjust the garment correctly. If you're unsure about measurements, describe what doesn't sit right and we'll help you from there.
Can you alter an heirloom or a special garment?+
Yes. We carry out alterations and adjustments on garments that mean a lot too, with care for fabric and details. Describe the garment and what you'd like in your order, and we'll find a good solution.
Can you both alter and repair the same garment?+
Yes. If the garment needs both an alteration and a repair, we can do both in one round. Describe both needs when you order and we'll take care of it.
Do I have to visit a tailor in person?+
No. Everything can be arranged digitally: you order online, have the garment picked up or send it in, and we deliver it back fully altered. So you skip the trip to the tailor.
